Confirm the Stripe account assigned to the work

This read-only account connection helps a workspace identify the connected Stripe account and confirm its operating mode and onboarding readiness. It is separate from paying The Block through Stripe Checkout.

What it accesses

  • The Stripe Account record, retaining only the connected account identity
  • Account country and test-or-live mode
  • Whether charges and payouts are enabled

What it does not access

  • No customers, payment methods, charges, payouts, invoices, balances, subscriptions, or transaction history
  • No payments, refunds, transfers, account edits, or other write actions
  • No advertising use or model training

How to connect Stripe

  1. Sign in to The Block and open Connected tools.
  2. Choose Stripe and continue to Stripe's hosted authorization screen.
  3. Confirm the Stripe account and permissions shown by Stripe.
  4. Return to The Block and verify the displayed account, mode, country, and readiness indicators.
  5. Disconnect from Connected tools or remove The Block Connections in Stripe when access is no longer needed.

Provider review and testing note

Marketplace testers can install with a permitted Stripe test or sandbox account and verify only the non-transactional account metadata listed above. No payment is required to test the connection.
